Why Mysore is a part of our tour experiences?

As a child I always wanted to visit #Mysore as I had heard a lot about it; The Palace, Vrindavan Gardens and Mysore Masala Dosa. I always imagined it as a city full of Indian tourists, using their annual leaves to holiday in Mysore. During my first visit to Mysore rather #Mysuru, it was exactly as I had imagined, a peaceful heritage city but there was a difference, a fundamental one. It was teeming with foreign tourists, experiencing life in an Indian city and did not appear to be a typical tourist destination. Mysore is not as big and complicated as Mumbai or Bengaluru but offers most of the modern amenities, easier to go around and much safer. You can get all kinds to cuisine and my personal favourites are the Mysore Masala Dosa and Chicken Biryani served on a banana leaf. We found it relatively less expensive compared to some of the cities in India. For tourists wanting to party at night, it boasts of a few modern pubs. Mysore is a part of the #jackfruitexperiences itinerary as it delivers experience on all fronts i.e. Indian city life, Indian heritage, colonial beauty, fabulous south Indian cuisine, simplicity and above all safety.
